Choi Kwang Do self defence moves are easy to learn, practical and effective where it counts -on the street. Using simple moves, and a small amount of repetitive training, people with very little experience can successfully defend themselves.
Featured Technique - Defense for a wrist grab
 One.

Assailant grabs wrist
This may be a common attack on women. The attacker wants to drag the victim with him, maybe into a car or van. |
Step in and strike ear
Instead of pulling backwards, which is what the attacker expects, step in and strike to the ear to stun the attacker to loosen the grip. |

Make a stop sign with trapped hand
Making a stop sign aligns the trapped wrist with the weakest part of the attackers grip. |
Shift weight back and pull trapped hand to opposite hip
Using your body weight, shift backwards while pulling trapped arm horizontally through the attackers thumb and forefinger. |

Retaliate with strike to the throat, and escape
If the attacker hasn't been stunned by the first strike, attack any vulnerable area. In this case, the throat is unprotected. Run! |
